Yes, provided processing is GDPR-compliant and recordings aren’t reused for other purposes. ForgetLess stores all data inside the EU, never uses your recordings for model training and lets you delete the audio immediately after transcription. We recommend being explicit about this processing in your data processing agreement (DPA) and intake.

Can I use the transcript as evidence in proceedings?

The original audio remains the primary piece of evidence. ForgetLess provides an accurate text rendition with per-sentence timestamps and speaker labels, which you can submit as an exhibit. Always verify critical passages against the original recording.

How do you handle attorney-client privilege?

Access to your transcripts is strictly limited to your account. We do not have read access to your content, all processing is automated and you can export or delete your data at any time. For extra peace of mind, set the audio retention period to 0 days.

Does speaker recognition work when voices overlap?
