All data processed by ForgetLess is stored and processed on highly secure servers in Western Europe. Your data is regularly backed up within the same infrastructure.
On the Free plan, audio files are automatically deleted 7 days after upload. On Plus and Pro plans, your files and transcripts remain available as long as your account is active. If you delete a file or your account, we start a 30-day soft delete; after that the data is permanently removed.

At ForgetLess, your data never leaves our servers. Traffic to our database is encrypted with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), and all communication between front-end and back-end is encrypted with the latest version of TLS (Transport Layer Security). On top of that, we use encryption-at-rest for all stored files and two-factor authentication (2FA) is available for all accounts (mandatory for administrators).
Only what is strictly necessary to deliver the service: your email address, name, hashed password, your audio uploads, the resulting transcripts and statistics such as monthly minutes used. Administrator actions are recorded in an audit log for security purposes.
Yes — from the Account settings you can download a full export of your data at any time or permanently delete your account. No request needed.
